The Experience
New neighborhood development ‘Two Step Farms’ hosted a back to school kick off party to encourage residents with young families to socialize together and get excited for the upcoming school year. This event was packed with activities, from snow cone trucks, cold beers, a glow in the dark dance party, various raffle prizes, and back to school freebies—APDAT stood out as a fan favorite offering customized backpacks for the kids and live printed shirts for the whole family! We printed shirts in all sizes with trendy chic Texas motifs alongside references to the ADORABLE goats that live on site, including some glow-in-the-dark decals which were immediately worn with flair at the glow dance party next door. The backpack activation shone bright for kids just starting preschool to students entering their senior year, they were able to get their items monogrammed and add cute decals that expressed their interests.
The Result
Everyone walked away happy with a positive community building experience which reminded guests, ‘Wow i’m so glad I chose to move out here’. Kids had a useful item to use in the upcoming school year and Parents were able to meet their neighbors who will be there for them as year progresses. Everyone who attended was able to be engaged in the process of having their item printed and it kept the spirits and energy high to watch their item be printed and ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ at the final results.
