The Experience

We teamed up with Shopbop at La La Land in Dallas to create an unforgettable two-day pop-up experience celebrating Texas pride, creativity, and community. The first 150 guests each day received a Shopbop sweatshirt to customize on-site. With live heat pressing as the main attraction, attendees got hands-on in creating a one-of-a-kind piece of apparel that reflected their style and SMU pride. Alongside the activation, guests enjoyed complimentary La La Land coffee, friendly rounds of Shopbop Jenga, and plenty of freebies on the outdoor Shopbop patio — making it the perfect blend of fashion, fun, and feel-good vibes.

The Result

Day one saw a steady stream of curious guests stopping by to join the fun. But when the live customization experience hit social media overnight, it went viral — and by the next morning, crowds were lining up an hour before opening just to be part of it. The buzz quickly turned the activation into the weekend’s must-attend event. The Shopbop x La La Land collaboration delivered a powerful mix of engagement, creativity, and connection. Guests walked away with exclusive, personalized sweatshirts and lasting memories of an event that captured the essence of Texas style and Shopbop’s playful, fashion-forward spirit.
