The Experience
We were honored to partner up with MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital again this year for their Camp H-Town kickoff party.
This year the event space was transformed into a fairytale swamp land inspired by Shrek. There was a dance floor decorated with lily pads, mushrooms and ferns adorned the tables, funny call backs to the film series in all the hors d'oeuvres, plus a neon green punch kept it silly and fun during the whole event. Kids were able to hang out with their friends, take photo booth pictures, and have a dance contest emceed by DJ FAIRY. APDAT engraved notebooks and bookmarks for the kids to take home and record their own stories within, continuing the magic. We offered fun on theme fonts, and colorful tassels to further customize their book marks, and the kids made us laugh with their “SHREK67” and “lord farquad” designs.
It was an incredible experience to participate and we loved seeing the kids having fun and goofing off together. See you next year Camp H-Town!
The Result
The notebooks and bookmarks were a hit! Laser engraving offers a unique customization with alot of freedom in what can be engraved on site. Guests are able to make something truly one of a kind and walk away with a unique experience.
Camp H-Town let’s kids going through a difficult time have the moment to just be silly kids and eat snacks, dance and play with their friends.
Events like this remind us all to just have some fun with it, your monogram doesn’t have to be stuffy either—you can laser engrave “SHREK67” on a leather notebook just because it makes you smile.
