Live Heat Pressing x MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital
The Experience
This summer, we had the incredible honor of partnering with MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital for a one-day camp experience that was nothing short of heroic.
Held at the George R. Brown Convention Center, the event transformed into an Incredibles-themed wonderland where kids became the stars of their own superhero stories. From designing custom capes at our creation station to striking a pose on the catwalk, these brave young heroes lit up the room with their joy, creativity, and pure superpower energy.
The day was filled with unforgettable moments—meeting superheroes (and super service dogs), dressing up in movie-star-worthy costumes, and celebrating strength in the most fun way possible.
We were proud to help bring this event to life and witness the magic that happens when imagination, courage, and community come together. It was a reminder that true heroes don’t always wear masks—sometimes, they wear capes they made themselves.
The Result
Over 70 personalized capes and overwhelmingly positive feedback from camp counselors, the Camp H-town team, and Houston First.
This event gave them a moment to simply be kids—to laugh, play, and embrace their own kind of superpower in a space filled with creativity and care.
We can’t wait to see what next year’s Camp H-Town has in store for our community!
